- Perform carpentry work in accordance with blueprints, building codes, and specifications
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using power tools and hand tools
- Install cabinets, countertops, molding, trim, doors, windows, and hardware
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality

- Proven experience as a carpenter
- Proficient in various carpentry techniques and methods
- Knowledge of building materials and their properties
- Familiarity with construction codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and equipment
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship

**Skills**:

- Electrical knowledge for wiring installations or repairs
- Experience with roofing projects including installation or repair of shingles or other roofing materials
- Ability to restore or repair damaged structures.
- Proficiency in operating power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, etc.
- Experience with siding installation or repair on residential or commercial buildings
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques for finishing touches on projects
