Directional Driller

**Responsibilities**:

- It was part of an HDD crew installing underground telecommunications infrastructure in the Oshawa/Port Perry/Uxbridge Region.
- Monitor and adjust drilling machinery as needed.
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, trailers, and construction equipment.
- Follow safety regulations and procedures.
- Keep records of drilling operations.
- Inspect drill sites for potential hazards.

**Experience/Knowledge Required**
- Previous work experience as a directional driller required
- Valid Class AZ or DZ driver's license and clean driver's abstract
- Able to read and understand locates, conduit plans, and work orders to ensure conduit is installed properly
- An upbeat attitude with a positive approach to work, punctual and reliable
- Book 7 Knowledge an asset
- Ability to perform physical labour duties for extended periods
- Team player with the ability to work well with others and assist other field crew members when needed
- Able to work extended hours as required and work in all weather conditions
- Ensure the safety of the job site and maintain equipment

**Salary**: $36.00-$40.00 per hour
