Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.
**SUMMARY**
The Piping Foreman is responsible for providing direction to a crew of tradespersons or related employees as outlined by the General Foreman.
**Location**: CNRL Horizon
**Shift**:7/7 or 14/14 & Potential for Night Shift
**Travel/Accommodation**:Flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary; camp provided.
**JOB DUTIES**
- Ensure all work being performed complies with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Participate in daily/weekly safety meetings
- Plan and coordinate work to be performed to achieve targets
- Provide crew with direction of work to be performed
- Participate in the creation of work progress updates
- Oversee the cost-effective use of materials and consumables
- Ensure trade personnel have the required skill level, training, experience and knowledge to perform the tasks assigned
- May perform other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
- CSTS-09 and/or CSO
- Ground Disturbance
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Organized and self-motivated
