**Job Description**:
Brand Marketing Manager, Proprietary Brands

The Brand Marketing Manager, Proprietary Brands is someone that is passionate about building brands, bringing new products to market, and delighting pet customers. They are responsible for developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth, and implementing brand plans. They are focused on achieving brand business objectives both short term and long term and working closely with our Marketing/Digital teams to bring the plans to life.

DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for managing and evolving brand awareness and consideration.
- Create, execute, manage marketing campaigns and programs with the assistance of Pet Valu marketing department and partner agencies.
- Manage the development and execution of annual marketing programs that aligns with key brand priorities to drive commercial and brand goals.
- Build relationships with marketing, product management teams and merchandising to support the development of marketing programs designed to drive product sales through and brand storytelling.
- Aid with brainstorming, evaluating, and developing new marketing opportunities with internal teams.
- Working with the analytics team, internal and partner, develop strategies to optimize customer lifetime value.
- Supporting and overseeing ongoing print, digital and social media activity, and opportunities.
- Liaising between the teams regarding new partnerships for brands.
- Develop and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring cross-functional representation and clarity of launch plans.
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns and incremental programs. Conduct post-mortems.
- Manage the fiscal year Marketing budget and ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Accountable share, revenue, and profit as well as ROI and accuracy for budgets.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 5 to 7+ years experience working in a brand and commercial/retail marketing experience.
- University or college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience managing multiple brands at once is a benefit.
- Experience and knowledge of pet retail is beneficial.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
