**We are looking for someone who**:

- Education in weld technology (diploma) or related field experience.
- Has 3 to 5 years' experience supporting robotic weld technology (preventative maintenance, weld improvements, breakdowns, etc.).
- Is able to work weekend shift schedule - three 12hr shifts + 4hr company paid top up.
- Has a great attendance record and arrives to work on time.
- Has strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Has good analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
- Has a desire to learn skills other than your area of expertise.
- Has a good understanding of the Toyota Production System (this would be an asset).

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Support seat frame welding processes by analyzing destruct test results, cut & etch results, weld schedules and check fixture inspections to develop countermeasures to improve weld quality.
- Optimize weld schedules and robot programming using GMAW principles to improve weld quality
- Complete weld tooling PMs and work with quality department to confirm dimensional accuracy
- Conducts weld schedule audits to confirm parameter settings and poka yoke confirmation.
- Implement tooling modifications or new weld schedules for engineering changes or kaizen activity
- Perform preventive maintenance activities and machine repairs
- Communicate with internal and external parties.
- Carry out kaizen projects.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Shifts**:
Rotating Shift (days and afternoons)

Weekend Shift

**Wages**:

- $37.35 per hour as a starting rate.
- $38.36 after 6 months of employment.
- $39.59 after 1 year of employment.
- $40.60 if you have Dual Ticket.
- $2.00 shift premium added when working the afternoon shift.
- Overtime time is paid at 1.5 times your regular wage after 40 hours each week.
- You will start with the top rate on day one if you have over five years of experience.
