Under the authority of the head of the physical installations department, the incumbent must ensure the proper functioning of the mechanical building systems in accordance with the codes in force in addition to tend to optimize their energy performance. He performs diagnostic work, surveys, functional tests, prepares reports, participates in repairs or repairs of any kind for the entire building stock on the Hudson Bay coast.

More specifically in the maintenance of building systems, she will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and good operating condition of various building systems (electricity, heating, plumbing, piping, air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, fire protection, lighting, etc. etc.). She will have to analyze, adjust and maintain these various systems, check their condition, whether they meet building standards and resolve operational problems.

She will have to collaborate with a team of specialized workers or sometimes, contractors such as (electricians, plumbers, refrigeration engineers, maintenance mechanics, day laborers, contractors, etc.). It will intervene in intrusion security, fire alarm, elevators, electronic hardware, heating devices, pump, motor, lighting, AUTOMATED CONTROL, HVAC, REFRIGERATION, telecommunications, etc

**Qualifications**
Hold a valid DEC in building mechanics issued by the Ministry of Education. Solid experience in HVAC regulation and controls and refrigeration will be considered an important asset. At least 10 years' experience in all these fields with a DEP could be considered in the absence of a DEC.

Must hold a valid Quebec driver's license.

**Experience required**
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in construction and/or maintenance in a commercial, institutional, industrial, government or municipal sector.

Knowledge of plans and specifications, their interpretation, tools, work instruments and materials.
Knowledge of estimator and installer.
Knowledge of the operation of various mechanical and electrical equipment.

**Conditions and benefits**
Hourly wage from $24.36 to $33.95
Temporary full-time with possibility of extension
38.75hours/week;
Cargo premium $115.64/week
Removal premium $191.93/week without dependant, $338.29/week with dependant;
Retention premium $114.99/week;
3 to 4 annual outings depending on family status;
