**NATURE DU TRAVAIL**

Sous la supervision du Directeur des Services de
l’éducation des adultes, le rôle principal de ce poste
est d'aider le bureau administratif du secteur de
l'éducation des adultes à maximiser l'intégration
informatique dans un environnement de travail et
internes ou commerciales, gérer les réseaux,
résoudre des problèmes très compliqués pour les
utilisateurs d'ordinateurs (employés administratifs,
enseignants et étudiants).

**ATTRIBUTIONS CARACTÉRISTIQUES**

La personne salariée de cette classe d’emplois
servant des langages de programmation appropriés
pour répondre à des besoins ponctuels des
utilisatrices et utilisateurs ; elle teste des logiciels et
des programmes et, au besoin, les adapte pour
s’assurer qu’ils sont compatibles avec les systèmes
existants et pour s’assurer, dans la mesure de leur
compétence, qu’ils répondent aux besoins des
utilisatrices et utilisateurs.

Elle gère des réseaux ; elle les installe et les
configure ou contrôle l’installation de composants
selon des procédures qu’elle établit ; elle teste,
modifie et met à niveau des réseaux informatiques;

procédures reliées à l’utilisation des réseaux et des
équipements, notamment celles qui concernent les
copies de sécurité, la destruction de fichiers périmés
et l’entretien des appareils.

**NATURE OF WORK**

Under the supervision of the Director of Adult
Education Services, the principal role of this
position is to help the administrative office of the
Adult Education sector to maximize the computer
integration within a work and pedagogical
environment; To install and support in-house or
to fix highly complicated problems for computer
users (administrative employees, teachers and
students).

**CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS**

The employee in this class of employment
appropriate programming languages in order to
meet the specific needs of users; he or she tests
software and programs and, if necessary, adapts
them to ensure that they are compatible with
existing systems and that they meet the needs of
users.

He or she manages, installs and configures systems
or oversees the installation of components
according to the procedures he or she establishes;
tests, modifies and upgrades computer networks;

procedures related to the use of networks and
equipment, particularly those concerning backup
copies, destruction of obsolete files and equipment
maintenance.

Elle agit comme personne-ressource pour les
dépannages les plus complexes sur le plan matériel et
logiciel notamment pour l’installation et la
configuration et, au besoin, elle effectue ces
installations et configurations.

Elle rédige des instructions d’utilisation des logiciels
utilisatrices et utilisateurs.

Elle formule des suggestions et recommandations
concernant l’achat d’équipement informatique.

Au besoin, elle peut être appelée à assister l’analyste
lors de l’analyse, de la conception et de l’élaboration
de systèmes informatiques.

Elle peut être appelée à contrôler l’exécution des
travaux en informatique.

Elle peut être appelée à initier des techniciennes ou
techniciens moins expérimentés de même qu’à
coordonner le travail du personnel de soutien dans
les tâches accomplies par ce personnel relativement à
la réalisation de programmes d’opérations
techniques dont elle est responsable.

Au besoin, elle accomplit toute autre tâche connexe.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES**

Détenir un diplôme d'études collégiales en
technologie informatique (spécialité en intégration
informatique en classe serait un atout) ou un diplôme
ou une attestation / certificat reconnu dans le
domaine de l'information et des technologies.

4 années d’expérience.

Bilingue (français et anglais)

La maîtrise de la langue crie serait un atout.

Disponible pour voyager.

**CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL**

Poste régulier à temps complet.
35 heures/semaine ;
Salaire : 23,12 $/hre à 33,61 $/hre
Prime d’éloignement : 8 484,00 $ à 13 573,00 $
Prime de rétention : 5,500$/année

He or she acts as a resource person for the
complicated breakdowns of equipment and
software, particularly with regard to the installation
and configuration and, if need be, carries out
installations
and configurations.

He or she drafts instructions for software and
users.

He or she formulates suggestions and
recommendations concerning the purchase of
computer equipment.

He or she may assist analysts in the analysis,
development and implementation of computer
systems, as needed.

He or she may oversee computer-related work.

He or she may be required to train less experienced
technicians
