**Boat Cleaner**

**Employment Type**: Part-time, 3 - 4 days/week for 4-hour morning shifts. Preferred days for shifts are Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday, but there is some flexibility in scheduling the days worked.

**Anticipated start date**: Immediately

**Wage**: $20.00/hr

**Location**: 450 Swift Street, Victoria, BC

**Reporting to**:
The Boat Cleaner takes direction from the Head of Maintenance with respect to daily operations. This is an important front-line, first-impression position and the Boat Cleaner is responsible for the exterior and interior cleaning of the Victoria Harbour Ferries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Punctually arriving for scheduled shifts
- Spraying boats off with a hose to clean any salt that has accumulated
- Using the correct equipment to clean windows
- Sweeping floors, mopping
- Cleaning any deep stains with brushes and other hand tools
- Sanitizing all surfaces
- Cleaning the cabin and taking the trash out
- Deep clean with a vacuum
- Complete duties before the boats leave for the day

- Methodical and detailed
- Ability to work independently
