**Contract Duration**: 9 weeks

- Are you passionate about working with children and exploring the great outdoors? Camp Kawartha is looking for enthusiastic individuals that have a passion for both the outdoors aswell as working with children._
- **Job Overview**:_
We are looking for responsible people to help run our camp. For this position you must be able to live at the camp for the contract duration. As a counsellor you oversee a cabin of campers as well as facilitating daily activities at the camp. You will interact with over 1000 campers that come through our camp each summer.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Create a comfortable, respectful and fun cabin community as head and assistant counsellors
- Run exposure periods, lessons, and interest choices
- Ensure the physical and emotional safety of campers and fellow staff
- Monitor campers’ health and manage camper hygiene
- Create and deliver imaginative and appropriate programs
- **Qualifications**:_
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Recent Criminal Reference Check
- National Lifeguard (strongly recommended)
