A locally owned and operated business Directbore is a general contractor specializing in trenchless methods, namely directional drilling.

The company's primary customer is Bell Canada which is actively deploying its Fiber to the Home Technology in the GTA and surrounding areas.

Our company is constantly improving its skills and its network of contacts.

**Duties**:

- Operate hydrovac equipment to safely and efficiently excavate underground utilities and pipelines
- Perform horizontal drilling and backhoe operation to dig trenches and holes as required
- Use heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and pave machines to assist with excavation projects
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while operating equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Perform Hydro vac excavation
- Keep construction trucks clean
- Complying with occupational health and safety standards
- Respect the quality standards of the client
- Observe the equipment maintenance schedule and notify the supervisor if repairs are required
- Perform other duties as related to this position
- Driver licence DZ or AZ

**Skills**:

- Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license
- Proficiency in operating hydrovac equipment,
- Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during operations
