**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the facility.
- Be able to clean windows using window cleaning apparatus
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain floors by stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report when reordering is necessary.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required to keep the facility in good condition.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting up to 30 lbs, bending, or standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is an advantage.
- Able to use cleaning equipment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$23.90 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
