**JOB SUMMARY**
Looking for a Pump Operator for a permanent, full-time, day shift position. Must be available to start work in the early mornings.
**YOUR DAY TO DAY**
- Set up, use and maintain tools and equipment associated with the concrete pump and the truck
- Assess the site conditions and position the truck appropriately
- Place concrete in desired locations by operating the boom and pump
- Load and unload the concrete pump and any attachments
- Inspect condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, etc.
- Receive and relay information from/to dispatch
- Other duties as assigned
**WHAT YOU NEED**
An effective Pump Operator must have the following:
- Concrete or Redi-mix experience, preferably in a similar field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to resolve conflicts with the utmost respect
- Ability to tactfully and professionally deal with customers both internal and external
- Ability to motivate people
- Able to handle stress, and multi task
- Must be able to work in a self-managed team
- Reliable and highly motivated
- Safety conscious
- Ability to work as a team member
- Must have excellant organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accurate
