**Job purpose**

The Junior Processing Specialist assists with all activities directly relating to the activities of all bake end staff and equipment on their line to ensure a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

The associate’s primary functions and responsibilities are as follows:

- Facilitate continuous improvements projects, sustainability, and optimization of projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis to determine troubleshooting, manufacturing/business, and assembly issues.
- Maintain sheeter, oven, and cooling conveyor, weight checker profiles for existing products.
- Perform daily line check to identify, analyze and record the data.
- Review product evaluation report and analyze if parameter’s are met with existing profiles.
- Assist NPD Line trial in conducting and monitoring various administrative activities undertaken by them.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations.
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge and experience working in a bakery environment preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent command of the English language; reading/writing/verbal
- Must be a team player, have good organizational skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision, and possess a safety first approach to work.
- Detail oriented
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer and MS Office skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and have dependable attendance.

**Working conditions**:

- Always work indoors.
- May be exposed to very hot temperatures from ovens.
- May work close to others, usually within a few feet.
- Usually wear safety equipment such as gloves, hair nets, and beard nets.
- Straight shift work.

**Physical requirements**:

- Stand for long periods of time.
- Repeat the same movement.
- Bend or twist their body.
- Use their hands to handle, control, or feel products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Food Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing: 1 year (required)
