**Knowledge and Skills (Education)**:

- A minimum of Grade 12- or 2-3-years' experience in a factory setting.
- 1-3 years' prior team lead/supervisory experience
- Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral
- Computer literate
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-starter and ability to work alone
- Ability multi-task and prioritize teamwork
- Ability to train

**Major Accountabilities**:

- Follow all work and safety instructions
- Assist HFDS supervisor to assign/delegate tasks to HFDS Material Handlers
- Monitor production output of operators, inform Supervisor of any potential problems related to equipment and processes to minimize unnecessary downtime.
- Responsible for overall shift and departmental performance; demonstrates using visual management tools
- Able to navigate through CMS independently and accurately

- Time is followed; able to plan for 'Ahead or Behind' schedule
- Operate assigned mobile equipment, including fork trucks/tuggers safely and with due consideration to pedestrians and safety regulations
- Complete paperwork as required
- Understand Process instruction sheets.
- Any employee who identifies a non-conformance has the responsibility of immediately bringing the matter to the attention of the Quality Department.
- Employees are responsible for following emergency procedures as directed and instructed to protect your own health & safety, that of co-workers and the environment
- Has the authority to identify any process/activity/service that have, or have potential for causing a Significant Health and Safety and/or Environmental Impact to Management.
- Has the authority to identify areas of opportunity for improvement to management.
- Ensure raw material inventory is identified and assigned by areas
- Direct route drivers to ensure best in class customer service to production
- Support inventory investigations.
- Perform regular inspection and safety checks on racking and all other HFDS equipment as required.

**Working Conditions**:

- 100 % plant floor (PPE required)
- Overtime as required
