Good Day

West End Cannabis Co is looking to hire a new budtender You will need to be 19 years of age, have a clean criminal background record, and a valid driver’s licence.

We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, is passionate about the product, and can work our full time hours starting at 18$/hr

Budtender Responsibilities:

- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences and budgets.
- Keeping abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through research
- Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
- Correctly packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
- Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.

Budtender Requirements:

- 19+ years of age
- Clean criminal background record
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- High school diploma or GED will be preferred
- Basic knowledge of cannabis strains will be preferred
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vermilion Bay, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
