Coding Instructor

We are recruiting for Coding Instructor who will be responsible for:
- Teaching students ages 7 + coding workshops, programs and lessons. The coding curriculum includes technologies like Scratch, Roblox, Minecraft, (optional: Python, Unity and more.)
- Develop, manage create and teach Coding and other technology-based experiments and activities.
- Develop and manage our Coding curriculum including designing, defining, creating and presenting a program for students aged 7+ to learn how to code with objectives for each lesson and level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) for classes of 1:1 to 1:10
- Supporting our social media strategy by being our in-house Coder - creating experiment videos and content and posting them via TikTok, Instagram and others.
- Support the execution of the Coding including creating social media content, presenting information and coordinating workshops
- A good understanding and knowledge navigating different technologies
- Extremely organized and works well in a fast paced environment
- Motivated to enhance programs and learning abilities with self-starter approach and exceptional time management skills
- Good natured with inspiring and strong leadership skills
- A can do attitude, quick to learn and can handle multiple deadlines and timelines
- Exceptional customer service, will go above and beyond for each client
- Quick starter, efficient approach to work and designing programs, documenting and completing drafts for coding program while effectively applies feedback, follows up with management, students and parents

**_Requirements_**
- Experienced coding instructor or coding in Scratch, Roblox, Minecraft and more
- Certified Ontario Teacher through Ontario College of Teachers or; post-secondary school graduate
- Strong social media presence
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English, French is an asset.
- Open to new ideas and learning strategies
- Exceptional customer service and relationship building skills
- Highly organized and works well in fast paced environment
**Job Type**: Part-time
Schedule:
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- King City, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
