Qc Inspector

**Requirements**:

- Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions, directions
- Have a quality and detail focus
- Understands the need to make premium quality every time
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
- Has demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure/deadlines
- Above average attendance
- Experience with measuring equipment - tape measure, caliper, micrometer
- Good communication skills
- Physically able to lift, push, pull, stand on a concrete floor, kneel, crawl, grip, pinch
- Good eye hand coordination
- Good visual/color vision
- Previous forklift experience or valid forklift (counterbalance) certification

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Look at each batch of items to check that they are correct.
- Check that the correct materials are going into products.
- Check that the correct products are coming out of a process.
- Independently review the records to ensure that they match the actual product.
- Check that the right procedures are being followed.
- Communicate with co-workers and managers to make sure they know what is happening in the company.
- Document and report inspection findings / results and when applicable monitors corrective actions to inspection findings
- Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment at shop floor as per calibration schedule

**Salary**: $18.50-$21.50 per hour
