**SHIFTS OFFERED**
- **Day shift (Monday to Friday)**; 5 days a week
- Work hours currently 7am-3pm but in busy seasons start time can vary between 6-7am
- **Afternoon shift (Monday to Thursday)**; 4 days a week
- Work hours currently 3:30pm-1:30am but in busy seasons end time can vary between 1:30am-2:30am, plus an afternoon shift premium of $2.00
- Shifts do not rotate

**OVERVIEW OF JOB DUTIES**
- Assemble precut wooden parts to build trusses used in building construction
- Place metal reinforcement plates over connecting intersections and attach boards at joints, using hand tools such as a hammer
- Operating press machine to provide additional reinforcement to secure the metal plates
- Assist in pushing, pulling and moving trusses
- Read and understand truss requirements according to the ‘cut sheet’
- Perform checks on product output to ensure quality control

**WHAT ARE YOUR DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS?**
- Knowledge of basic framing and construction processes is an asset
- Physical ability to lift 50 to 70 lbs
- Must be reliable with excellent attendance
- Ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive work environment
- Works well individually and as a team
- Exhibits a positive “can do” attitude
- Open to other opportunities and ability to be flexible
- Work boots are required

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Standing for long periods of time
- Jumping up and down from a three foot high table
- Perform physically demanding job
- Work in a shop facility
- Exposure to noise, vibration, and dust
