**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure during busy service times.
- Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and kitchen operations is essential.
- Experience with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
