**About the role**:
The drilling and blasting intern is part of the Mining Engineering team and reports to the Service Supervisor. He/she is in the process of learning in the mining engineering field.

**Essential Duties**:

- Perform quality control on underground drilling and blasting operations
- Draw drilling and loading plans
- Process site scans
- Support engineers and technicians in day-to-day activities
- Support other engineering department teams as needed
- Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly in terms of health and safety
- All tasks related to the performance of duties

**Training & Experience**:

- Student in Mining Engineering or Mineral Technology
- Have studied mining modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7
- Knowledge of Deswik Promine information technology, Microsoft-based software
- Bilingual**, **French & English***

**Working Conditions**:

- Schedule: 14 days of work followed by 14 days of rest
- Éléonore mine site (Fly-in, Fly-out)
