**Forge Connections, Fuel Growth: Lead as a Data Analyst at KenWave**:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to assist us with processing field-gathered acoustic data for pipeline condition assessment projects. This role also supports Engineers and Software Developers in creating and deploying new analytical tools and frameworks to extend our predictive capabilities.

**Specific accountabilities include**:

- Analyze acoustic data and manage the implementation of the condition assessment process
- Develop and improve Python Scripts for processing/interpretation of field data
- Review and integrate signal processing algorithms of sound files
- Build and maintain a queries/report dashboard using SQL
- Simplify data processing and automate where possible to support analysis
- Develop alternative methods for manual processes

**Education & Skill Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Data, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics
- 3-5 years of employment experience
- A Masters Degree would be an asset
- Experience with:

- Python, SQL, and managing databases
- Distributed data processing frameworks
- Software best practices including testing, benchmarking and peer reviews
- Advanced pattern mining, clustering and parametric sweep optimization models
- Familiarity with Octave, Matlab and MathCAD
- Prior acoustical experience including acoustic or optical signal processing would be an asset
- Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
- Abilitity to explain and synthesize the results of statisitcal models to a non-statistician
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technological functions including interfacing with external stakeholders
- Familiarity with multivariate spectral analysis of time series data would be an asset
