We are a general contracting company servicing the Greater Victoria Area. We are seeking **1 **experienced painter to join our diverse, hard-working team

**Painter Tasks**:

- Transport painting materials and equipment to worksite
- Prepare various types of surfaces for painting with scraping, sand papering and cleaning
- Ability to spray ceilings, cut and roll
- Mix and match paints, varnishes, lacquers and shellac
- Refinish and restore interior and exterior painted surfaces
- Prepare cost estimates for residential and commercial painting projects
- Ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn when applicable
- General laborer tasks may also be performed

**Painter Hours**:

- Full-Time

**Painter Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the jobs (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy paint and painting materials)
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Basic understanding of painting-related principles and procedures
- Commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with painting tools and accessories
- Willing to obtain a First Aid Certificate

**Painter Requirements**:

- Former painting experience required

**Painter Wage**:

- $27.00-33.00 per hour, based on experience and work performance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00-$33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
