Overview:
Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our client's site. As a front-line representative of our company and client’s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with mínimal supervision, have the ability to multitask and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.

Job Profile:
The commissionaire will report to and work with the Site Supervisor and Area Manager. He/she will utilize the post orders to provide superior customer service, security and protection to their client and the client’s property/assets.

- Hours of work: Weekends, 12am-12pm
- Number of positions: 1
- Duties include, but are not limited to:_
- Ensure access control policies and procedures are followed and client property is secured
- Notify the Facility Manager when suspected suspicious activity, packages, or people are observed in, or around, the building.
- Maintain access control procedures.
- Control access to lobby and loading dock doors on request from the Security Desk.
- Attend to all enquiries while working at the front desk.
- Perform routine patrols to verify the integrity of the building, as well as detect potential problems, incidents of forced entry, and unauthorized access.
- Report any potential Health & Safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Facility Manager or an appointed representative.
- Report any building or equipment damage, and all incidents to Management.
- Complete and submit reports as requested by the client.
- Required Qualifications:_
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Drivers License
