**What You’ll Do**

As the **Heavy Equipment Support Technician - CGI**, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the success of our growing dealer and rental house network. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Service, you’ll build strong relationships and provide technical expertise through:

- Developing and strengthening partnerships with dealership service and factory teams.
- Offering hands-on troubleshooting and technical support.
- Collaborating with factory engineers and technicians to resolve complex issues.
- Leading pre-delivery inspection (PDI) processes to ensure quality.
- Creating engaging training materials and delivering sessions to dealership personnel.
- Managing warranty processes and product improvement programs.
- Supporting dealers in developing failure analysis processes.
- Traveling to dealer and customer locations to conduct training, programming, and troubleshooting.
- Ensuring adherence to all health and safety requirements, including toolbox inspections.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering collaboration. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- **Education and Experience**:

- Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician certification or equivalent experience in construction equipment.
- At least 5 years as a Service Technician in the General Construction Industry.
- Post-secondary diploma or relevant technical education.
- WHMIS, site orientation, and safety training are assets.
- **Core Competencies**:

- Strong commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and manage up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to travel and work varied hours as needed.
