We are looking for a Sales Representative summer student to assist in our business’ continued success. The position’s main function is to manage retail sales while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position will correlate with the college/university summer months from the end of April to the end of August.
- Responsible for retail sales within the landscape segment of the company
- Service walk in landscape customers and existing account holders
- Strategically create estimates and bids to secure business for new and existing customers
- Service and follow up with customers over the phone
- Maintain and organize landscape showroom area
- Participate in landscape marketing initiatives
- Assist A/R with invoices, month end process, data entry and paper filing
- Be comfortable loading small orders for customers

**Skills (Not required but preferred)**:

- Possess a positive attitude and be a team player
- General knowledge of construction materials is an asset
- Customer service and sales focus with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Blue print knowledge is an asset
- Computer skills
- Enrolled in Business and Marketing courses
- Physically able to lift product

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $15.50-$16.50 per hour

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-05-01
