**Role Profile**

Reporting to the Regional Volunteer Services Manager, the **Volunteer Coordinators** will assist with our BeFriending Program, and volunteer data management.

We are looking to hire for 2 positions.

**Responsibilities**:

- This includes program preparation, set up, clean up and that equipment is readily available to participants.
- This role will provide ongoing support to participants and the BeFriending Manager throughout programs.
- The successful applicants will work closely with individuals living with disabilities and gain skills in client service.
- They will work as part of a small team, and develop skills related to teamwork, problem solving, and communication.
- This role includes data management of volunteer records and relations.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in post-secondary education in related field
- Ability to work in a team and/or independently
- Exceptional communication skills and written skills
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary: $18.95 per hour**

- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- Note: International students are not eligible participants.
- This position will have a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of working remotely and in-person at Unit 1E, 3340 Schmon Parkway, Thorold, Ontario, L2V 4Y6.
