POSITION: Field Safety Advisor

START DATE: ASAP

PROJECT LOCATION: Northern / Eastern Alberta

SHIFT: 14/7

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote, demonstrate and instill Company safety culture in all aspects of the business
- Conduct daily inspections and observations of work areas and liaise with supervisors and the crew relating to matters of Health, Safety, and Environment
- Fill out work site inspection reports
- Report daily/weekly to the Safety Manager / Lead on safety issues and concerns that may require their involvement or attention
- Conduct safety meetings
- Ensure safety documentation is filled out appropriately
- Monitors field compliance with company procedures
- Coach management and employees on legislative and internal health and safety management systems
- Coordinate training for employees and sub-contractors
- Develop and deliver safety related training modules and programs, including the development of site specific materials such as site orientations and tool box talks
- Complete Incident investigation and reporting
- Actively participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committee and communications with local OH&S and safety authorities
- Support the completion of workplace investigations into incidents and possible safety violations
- Other general safety duties

Qualifications:

- NCSO Certified
- CRSP would be an asset
- Minimum 5 years of oilfield construction experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong administrative skills along with ability to maintain and report accurate data
- Class 5 drivers license

We offer competitive wages, based on experience.
