Roska DBO Inc. is currently recruiting for a full-time
**_Picker Truck Operator _**to join our team This position is based out of our Grande Prairie, Alberta location.

**Position Summary**
Maintain and operate a 10T Knuckle Boom Tridem Tractor

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Perform pre-operational inspection and calculate crane capacities and weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting
- Operate boom truck crane to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials at construction sites
- Perform routine maintenance checks on boom truck
- Keep up on all reports and keep the trucks in good safe working order
- Secure loads, checking weight distribution and balance to prevent shifting and damage
- Assist in meeting the Health, Safety and Environmental goals of the business unit
- Hands on support to construction and maintenance teams nature such as field data, computers, daily activity reports or timesheets
- Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency and productivity of processes, systems, and equipment within the business unit

**Competencies**:

- **_Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to adhere to them_**:

- **_Ability to operate and maneuver picker truck in tight spaces and in varying weather conditions_**:

- **_Physical strength and endurance to perform tasks such as loading and unloading equipment_**:

- Excellent communication skills to interact with site supervisors and team members
- Flexibility to work in different locations and varying schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Experience in carrying out routine maintenance checks and identifying potential issues with the vehicle

**Qualifications**:

- Valid, clean commercial Class 1 Driver's License with boom truck certification

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Must possess a clean driver’s abstract and have reliable transportation
