Plating Line Lead

**Requirements**
- High school diploma (with Grade 12 Math), GED or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum score of 50 on Mechanical Aptitude Test.
- Chemistry background preferred.
- Must be fit enough to perform regular functions.
- Must be willing to work overtime as circumstances determine.
- Production experience preferred.
- Advanced ability to effectively problem-solve.
- Team player within multi-disciplined team.
- Strong organizational skill set.
- Experience in cross functional team.
- Knowledge of supplies and equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

**Job Duties**
- Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to know, understand, and practice all safety procedures for normal operation of the plater, related equipment and ensure all environmental standards are met.
- Must be able to perform chemical analysis on processes, boiler, waste water effluent and others as required to ensure process parameters are maintained.
- Must be able to perform additions as indicated by analysis to maintain chemical levels in processes.
- Must be able to perform all testing for plating thickness deposits as required.
- Must be able to monitor environmental operations, verify and/or calibrate Waste Water Treatment Equipment to ensure M.M. environmental compliance to targets and Legislation are met.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and correct issues as they may arise in the Waste Water Treatment System.
- Must be able to ensure continuous plating operation to required quality and production standards.
- Must be certified in final audit.
- Must be certified in racking.
- Must be able to perform salt spray testing and evaluations.
- Must be able to correctly complete all required documentation.
- Must be able to troubleshoot issues and correct, both chemical and mechanical, i.e. blisters, crashes, etc.
- Must be able to complete inventories as scheduled or requested.
- Must be able to complete weekly plater preventative maintenance as required.
- Must be able to step in and assist production in such areas as racking, auditing, etc., which training has been provided for.
- Must have a valid tow motor operation training and current Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.
- Must be able to monitor waste accumulations and levels and report.
- Must be able to perform Batch Treatments to treat and dispose of wastes.
- Understand and adhere to Escalation Process.
- Compliance to all safety rules as well as company policies.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Start-Up / Shut-Down Duties_
- Must be able to complete as per Start-Up / Shut-Down Checklist.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Salary**: $23.12-$27.15 per hour
