Manual Machinist

**Duties**:

- Set up and operate Lathe / Milling Machine equipment while maintaining the quality of both the product and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- May be required to set up, operate, and maintain a variety of other machine tools including but not limited to repetitive and non-repetitive machining operations such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, drilling, precision grinding and other machining operations.
- Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to perform accurate measurements
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other team members to assemble and weld components as needed
- Support in maintenance and repair of machineries in the workshop.
- Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and minimize waste

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a manual machinist or in a similar role
- Proficient in operating manual machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Pay: $21.37-$38.52 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- machinist: 1 year (preferred)
