Fire Extinguisher Technician

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**:

- Perform scheduled inspections, servicing, repair, and recharging of hand portable fire extinguishers.
- Service Fire Extinguishers to the requirements as per the NFPA 10
- Inspect fire extinguishers to the NFPA Requirements
- Perform deliveries/pickup at customer locations and suppliers where required.
- Receive and put stock away in designated areas.
- Maintain general cleanliness throughout the shop and work area.
- Order stock items from suppliers where required.
- Conduct repetitive tasks
- Must be punctual, self-motivated and have a good command of the English language.
- Must have a clean driving abstract.
- Must have knowledge of hand tools needed to perform the work required.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- NFPA 10 Training Certificate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Standing
- Driving (city and highway)
- Noise, light and elements exposure
- Sitting
- Walking
- Bending / Stooping
- Lifting (1 to 50 lbs)
- Carrying (1 to 50 lbs)

Pay increase based on performance

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
