The Opportunity

We are embarking on the next phase of our growth and are looking to add to our day shift within our expanding Distribution Center. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be a key contributor on our team as you assist with picking, packing, restocking and replenishing product, along with other general warehouse duties.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick orders efficiently and accurately by bin location and using FIFO method
- Check and pack orders efficiently using packing materials provided.
- Flag inventory discrepancies encountered while picking orders to Manager
- Ensure received products are put away into pick locations accurately when required.
- Adhere to company safety policies and safety compliance regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Must be punctual, motivated with a positive attitude have a strong work ethic and be detailed-oriented
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30-40 lbs
- Team player with respect for co-workers and customers
- Excellent verbal (English) communication and effective listening skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes.
- Proficient with computers.

Additional Information
- The Day Shift operates Monday through Friday, from both 9:00am until 5:00pm or 11am to 7pm
- The Warehouse Associate works in a warehouse setting and the temperature is variable depending on seasonal conditions. Lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of heavy product weighing 30/40 lbs, along with spending prolonged periods on your feet, is required
- Forklift/Reach Truck License (preferred)

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
- Forklift / Reach Truck: 1 year (preferred)
