Pest Control Technician

**Rocky Mountain Forestry Consulting Inc. **(RMFC) was established in 2006 and is based in Cranbrook, BC. RMFC performs Invasive Plant Management in the East and West Kootenays.

**RMFC has two full time seasonal job openings.**

**Requirements**:
Class 5 drivers license.

Valid Pesticide Applicator Certificate (Industrial Vegetation & Noxious Weed Control).

Level 1 First Aid Certificate.

UTV certificate (will train).

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Invasive Plant Management. Identification, inventory and treatment of invasive plants. The majority of treatments are performed using UTV's with boom-less nozzles and hose reels. Some backpack work is required.
- Duties include the mapping and inventory of invasive plants with the use of iPads.
- Workers are required to collect data, fill out electronic forms.
- Workers are required to drive pickups and trailers and safely load, unload equipment.
- Completion of daily safety and equipment inspection reports.
- Safe and accurate mixing, storing, and transportation of herbicides.
- Safety is of the highest priority.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Preference will be given to applicants with experience.
