The Faculty of Trades & Technology at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is currently seeking a permanent full-time Farrier instructor to deliver Foundation Farrier training.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

A credential from one of the following:

- the Association of Farrier Trainers of Canada/ Association des Marechaux-Ferrants Formateurs du Canada, (AFTC/AMFC) as a certified Journeyperson farrier.
- the American Farrier Association (AFA) as a certified journeyperson Farrier.
- the Worshipful Company of Farriers of London as an Associate Fellow farrier (AWCF).
- a Farriery Association, Board, Council or Guild from another jurisdiction or country.
- A minimum of five (5) years current industry experience
