HUMAN RESOURCES PROFILE AND JOB DESCRIPTION Position's Name: Material Handler Code: JOB DESCRIPTION Objective: This position is responsible for performing all warehouse functions such as but not limited to: pulling & packing orders, load & unload trucks, sorting & inventorying material. Relevance: The material handler must transport production materials from one area to the other in a safe manner without damaging the product. Responsibilities: Responsible for moving finished goods from the warehouse area (after the material is properly packaged) on to an awaiting truck for shipment. Material Handlers will locate finished product in designated areas of the warehouse and record the locations in the system. From time to time the material handler will assist in the packaging of finished goods Operate the floor scrubber. Maintain superior housekeeping standards throughout the department. Performs other general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor. Challenges: Operating the fork lift in a safe manner and without damaging finished products. Maintaining high levels of inventory accuracies Maintaining a high level of on time shipments. Key Measurements Measurement Unit The number of orders filled accurately and the amount of damaged goods due to forklift operation. # Customer complaints due to defective material. % A-grade. $ Value of damages # of customer returns due to improper order filling Human Competencies Must be able to read and write and follow instructions. Must be able to work as part of a group. Organizational Competencies Must be well versed in all finished goods that are produced on the manufacturing line or supplied to us from an outside source. Technical Competencies Must have forklift license or willing to obtain such license. Working Conditions Employee works in an open area inside the facility. It is well lighted. The area is not air conditioned and is warm in the summer. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. Must occasionally work outside, regardless of weather conditions. High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
