Citizen Design Build Inc. is a design and build firm specializing in residential construction. We are currently expanding and are seeking an experienced Foreman to join our dedicated team.

**Job Description**:

- Coordinate duties with site superintendent
- Direct carpenters and apprentices
- Develop a thorough understanding of each subcontract, drawings and specifications.
- Identify constructability issues, design deficiencies, code violations etc.
- Coordinate on-site logistics including material handling, trade mobilizations, and deliveries.
- Review daily progress of work completed and deliver daily reports to the site superintendent.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, Net Zero standards, and regulations.
- Foster a clean and safe worksite.
- Follow Citizen Design Build safety policy as required by Worksafe BC

Skills and Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Ticketed Red Seal Carpenter
- Familiarity with Net Zero construction
- Must be physically fit and able to comfortably lift 50lbs
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude, hardworking, reliable
- Must be a team player

**Salary**: From $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm, based in Chemainus.
