Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies - Canmore, the Jeff Walker Gallery is a fine-art photography gallery by local artist Jeff Walker. We’re searching for a bright, mature and well-spoken sales/art consultant to join our gallery team
- **As a Sales/Art Consultant, your primary responsibilities will be**:

- Daily opening & closing duties
- Creating a welcoming environment & providing excellent customer service at all times
- Comfortably engaging and educating each customer with the stories behind each piece
- Converting conversations into sales
- Helping our team reach goals
- Tracking and managing inventory
- Sales/CRM management
- Hanging/Revamp of pieces within gallery (every 2-3 months)
- Packing and preparing pieces for shipments
- Work collaboratively with other employees to provide support on a wide range of administrative tasks and daily operations
- **Qualifications & Requirements**:

- 2-3 years previous work experience in sales
- A genuine interest in Art and Interior Decor
- Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with POS systems
- Processing and managing large payment transactions with confidence
- High degree of computer literacy and ability to learn new programs (MAC OS)
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Happy to work in a team environment to continue the growth of the business
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
