**POSITION TITLE: MOVID Supervisor**
**DEPARTMENT**:Urban Health and Homelessness Services **STATUS**:Regular Full-time, non-bargaining unit

**HOURLY RATE**:Commensurate with experience

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**:The Neighborhood Group is working collaboratively with partner agencies to provide mobile isolation and recovery supports for people experiencing homelessness in shelters, respites, and drop-in programs.
The MOVID Supervisor, will work collaboratively with community agencies and teams in order to establish and support mobile peer support initiatives at identified sheltering sites. The Supervisor will assist in the identification, recruitment, training, scheduling and support of peer workers and unionized staff (shift leads) to ensure quality and efficiency in the delivery of services to COVID-19 positive and close contact clients self-isolating in physical distancing shelters. The Supervisor will also support the mobilization of staff and implementation of consistent harm reduction and client support procedures.
**Please note this position is expected to work across sites (COVID isolation sites, shelters, respites and encampments). Work weekends and holidays might be required.**

**MAJOR DUTIES**:

- Support the peer team to navigate and adhere to changing COVID-19 safety protocols and standards in accordance with regulator requirements
- Support staff in completion of COVID assessment and in-situ isolation planning
- Communicate and coordinate with Shelter Support and Housing Administration (SSHA) and Toronto Public Health to assess shelter site needs and schedule and assign peers and staff accordingly, across locations
- Develop, in collaboration with the Manager, all administrative and evaluation tools for the programs
- Coordinate compensation and scheduling administration (i.e. honoraria and timecard submission) and report to Manager as required
- Participate in case conference/client support huddles with other supervisors, managers, staff and peers s as required
- Form positive relationships with community and system partners
- Maintain accurate records and complete reporting as required by funders and the Manager
- Directly assist the Manager with program management as requested
- Some evening, weekend, and holiday work is required as needed to meet program demands
- Provide program execution, evaluation, and quality assurance - from developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating of program goals and objectives, to developing appropriate protocols and policies
- Prepare for and actively participate in supervision meetings with the Manager and other teams as instructed
- Be respectful of and responsive to individuals and communities facing social, economic and cultural barriers.

**REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Social Work or another related discipline; or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
- Minimum 2 years experience supervising, training, and coaching staff; experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Minimum 3 years of health promotion and/or harm reduction experience in a community setting working with homeless and marginalized populations including people who use substance
- Demonstrated experience with and commitment to harm reduction principles and practices
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working on a multidisciplinary team
- Recent extensive experience working with marginalized populations including homeless adults and people who use substances and people who identify as living with mental health issues
- Superior group and workshop facilitation skills and proven experience developing curriculum/workshop content
- Proven knowledge in the areas of substance use, mental health, peer, harm reduction and homelessness
- Excellent communication, initiative, judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated effective organizational and time management skills
- Crisis prevention and de-escalation training and experience
- Experience in program development, implementation and evaluation is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,640.00-$68,228.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:
