Carpenter position will supervise the activities of laborers, carpenter's helpers and apprentices on job site(s). The successful applicant is expected to lead and carry out all aspects of residential house building. This position requires proficient knowledge and skill in all aspects of carpentry including: foundations, framing, siding and finishing.

A Carpenter has a physically strenuous and demanding job and will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both wind, rain, cold and heat.

**SKILLS**:

- At least 3 years of residential carpentry experience. Ideally, you will be a Red Seal Certified Carpenter
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
- Can effectively work in a team atmosphere
- Ability to communicate with your team and clients
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Can take direction
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Delegate task, lead your team, and direct trades
- Highly organized
- Attention to detail in everything you do onsite
- Must have own transportation
