**Requirements**:

- Receive and inventory concrete related products.
- Verify accuracy of shipment contents.
- Operate forklift and other material handling equipment as required.
- Organize storage yard space and maintain a clean site and accurate inventory.
- Track, trace and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Receive purchase orders and assemble orders for delivery.
- Communicate with suppliers, customers and internal staff regarding deliveries, stock levels and billing.
- Create efficient delivery schedule.
- Operate delivery truck and deliver product to construction sites in Edmonton and surrounding area.
- Ensure delivery truck is clean and well maintained.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Participate in all safety initiatives including wearing PPE, completing pre-trips, attending safety meetings, and identifying hazards.
- Provide additional backup support to the warehouse and delivery team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
- Previous experience operating a forklift.
- Familiarity with the City of Edmonton and area roads and general geography.
- Strong administration and communication skills.
- Previous experience working in the construction or concrete industry is an asset.

**Hours of Work**:
Typical hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM.

**Physical Demands**:
This is moderately strenuous work and frequently lifts material up to 30 pounds. Bending, crawling, lifting, and other mild physical demands maybe required.
