_**who is slow pour beer bar?**_

we are literal, actual beer nerds

we want to create a fun space where things move a little slower. life needs a pause button sometimes. ie. "go with the slow".

there is craft in making beer and there is craft in pouring beer, the latter is where we come in the higher the foam the closer to god. get it? got it? good.

we have a desire to be the best at what we do

sometimes we ask ourselves, "how do societal pressures and different cultures shape the way we consume beer?"; and then we explore that and see where it goes
- **Duties**_
- prepare and serve beverages and food to customers (following standard recipes where required)
- engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- maintain cleanliness of the bar area and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently
- assist in opening and closing duties as required
- **What we are looking for**_
- previous experience in bartending or hospitality preferred.
- you never say the phrase “I don’t know”, unless it’s followed up by “...but I can find out”
- the thought of learning something new feeds your soul. like chicken soup does.
- extensive knowledge of The Office - quick what is Holly allergic to?
- compassion/empathy - you cry every time you watch The eHarmony Girl’s dating video. better yet, YOU ARE The eHarmony Girl.
- communication is your actual middle name.
- community/ team builder - you watch the Summer Olympics every 4 years, not because you’re into shotput but because you’re proud of everyone giving it their all.
- Teamwork is also your family name - derives from the Dutch word for “I’m very good at working with others and I like that.”
- knowledge of food safety practices
- strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse people
- ability to manage time effectively during peak hours
- **What we are not looking for**_
- you say “I” instead of “we” when talking about team accomplishments
- you think you know it all
- you don’t like The Beatles or dogs
- you drank your first Kellerbier and NEVER thought to yourself, “Wait, what is a Kellerbier?" - which then led you down a wikipedia rabbit-hole where you learned something about french bridge design immediately post-revo
- **Requirements**_
- Proserve, duh
- this is mainly an evening/weekend type of gig. you must be available during these times. It's the name of the game, ok?
- bartending/ barista experience preferred; fundemental knowledge of beer is also preferred.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
