**Who we are**:
Earth to Table: Bread Bar is a living extension of the food philosophy that began with the Earth to Table cookbook. It celebrates what is best about food by shortening the gap between producers and consumers. Bread Bar makes a commitment to sourcing quality ingredients that are fresh and local.

**Job Purpose**:
Bread Bar Cooks are responsible for the preparation and transformation of taking quality ingredients and turning them into delicious, high-quality dishes. They display a passion for the culinary arts, cooking with conviction and offering our guests thoughtful and genuine hospitality through our food.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Good knife skills
- Understanding of professional kitchen systems.
- Participate in prepping stations for meal services and batch recipes.
- Follow direction and complete tasks in a timely manner, as well as accept and perform additional tasks as required for optimal performance of the restaurant.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Follow all Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe work environment for all guests and team members.
- Adhere to all cleanliness and sanitization practices, including maintaining workstation in an orderly manner.

- Food Handler Certification
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is considered an asset.
