At Dow, we believe in putting people first and we’re passionate about delivering integrity, respect and safety to our customers, our employees and the planet.

Our people are at the heart of our solutions. They reflect the communities we live in and the world where we do business. Their diversity is our strength. We’re a community of relentless problem solvers that offers the daily opportunity to contribute with your perspective, transform industries and shape the future. Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration. If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.

The Diamond Symposium is a thoughtfully organized Future Talent Event hosted by Dow primarily intended for Canadian undergraduate University and Technical College students from diverse backgrounds across Canada that are interested in careers within Manufacturing & Engineering (Operations).

As Dow’s largest function, Operations is comprised of employees supporting our Canada Manufacturing facilities. As an Operations employee, you will fill a role that directly impacts plant performance on a day-to-day basis, supports the maintenance & reliability of a facility, maintains our high standard of environmental, health, and safety (EH&S), and develops business-centric emerging technology/process control strategies. Key areas of emphasis are EHS&S performance, product quality, maintaining and optimizing operating costs, and all aspects of plant technical performance such as yield, energy efficiency, production rates, and asset utilization. You will help produce materials that address challenges related to affordable and efficient supply of food, suitable housing, and high performing buildings, improved personal health and comfort, and advancements in emerging technologies such as electric vehicles and smart devices.

The Diamond Symposium is more than an event; it's a chance to grow personally and professionally. The event will take place in the community of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada and is an invitation to share in Dow's story.
