**Mechanical Assembly and Service Technician - (Intertronic) Antenna Systems**

**Opportunity**:
Located in the Vaudreil - Dorion, **Intertronic A Calian Company** is a leading manufacturer of antenna systems serving industries including Astronomy, Radar, Electronic Warfare, Deep Space and Satellite communication.

We are presently seeking a **_mechanical assembly and service technician (mechanical assembler / electromechanics)_** to join our growing team.

Minimum of 1 year experience in mechanical assembling / electromechanics or a similar position.

We support our Military veterans return to the civilian workforce and reservist who want the best of both worlds to apply. Trade student graduates or upcoming trade graduates encouraged to apply.

Permanent full-time position, competitive compensation, with group insurance.

**Responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Assemble antenna systems according to drawings and instructions

Trouble shoot equipment, identify, and fix problems

Travel to customer sites to install / setup equipment, repair equipment and service maintenance

Evaluate machine functioning and propose improvements as required.

Operate aerial platform, forklift equipment _(Safety training provided) _

**Qualifications**:
English (oral and written) and knowledge of French

DEC/DEP (mechanical/electrical) preferred or equivalent work experience.

Mechanical aptitudes are necessary, electrical aptitudes asset, _(Small competency test at time of interview) _

Ability to read part/assembly drawings

Meticulous and detail oriented

Ability to use variety of hand tools and measuring devices

Able to lift to 22.68 kg - 50 lbs.

Able to work at heights of 60-80 ft on system or from aerial platform equipment, _(Fall Protection training provided) _

Able to work with little guidance alone as well as in a team

Shows initiative and drive and willing to learn and grow with the company

Valid driver’s license, passport, and ability to travel (no past issues in crossing international customs, including the USA)

**Description du poste**:
Technicien(ne) nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d'un assembleur(e) mécanique ou
électromécanicien(ne).

Minimum 1 an d'expérience comme assembleur mécanique / électromécanique ou un poste similaire.

Nous encourageons nos vétérans militaires et les réservistes à postuler.

Les étudiants nouvellement diplôme (DEP reconnue) Bienvenue

**Responsabilités**:
Vos responsabilités comprennent mais ne sont pas limitées aux tâches suivantes:
Assembler différents types d'antennes selon les dessins techniques et les instructions données

Réparer des équipements, identifier et résoudre des problèmes

Se déplacer chez les clients pour compléter la mise en service et/ou réparer l’équipement

Évaluer le fonctionnement d'antennes et proposer des améliorations au besoin

Utiliser une plateforme élévatrice et un chariot élévateur (formation sur place)

**Connaissances et aptitudes requises**:
Anglais (bonne connaissance à l’oral et à l’écrit), connaissance du français

DEP (mécanique/électricité (de préférence)) ou une expérience professionnelle équivalente.

Bonne connaissance des systèmes mécanique, est nécessaire et connaissance en électricité serait un atout. _(Examen pratique obligatoire)_

Capacité à lire et à comprendre des dessins techniques

Minutie et souci du détail

Capacité à utiliser une variété d'outils et d'appareil de mesure.

Capable de soulever jusqu'à 22,68 kg - 50 lb.

Capable de travailler à des hauteurs de 60-80 pieds sur une plate-forme élévatrice (formation fournie).

Être autonome capable de travailler avec peu de supervision

Avoir de l'initiative, le désir se d’évoluer et d'apprendre au sein de l'entreprise.
