Creaming Operator

You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

**How you will contribute**

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

**More about this role**
- Assist with the preparation and set-up of the production lines and monitor the creaming machinery to maintain efficient operation.
- Ensure that the finished product meets quality, weight and thickness specifications.
- Complete quality/production reports as required.
- Report machinery problems and issues to the line mechanics to reduce downtime maintenance repairs.
- Perform downtime reporting into the Zarpac system or manual recording sheets.
- Enter cream data into SAP.
- Prepare and load raw materials into hoppers as needed (i.e., cream, jam, etc.).
- Responsible for performing other duties as assigned (i.e., packing, etc.) Work with and around allergen products with safe practices.

**Education / Certifications**

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

**Job-specific requirements**:
Minimum of one (1) year of demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment.

**Good to have**:

- Valid license to safely operate a powered forklift vehicle Experience as a manufacturing operator in the food processing industry.

**Work schedule**:

- You can be assigned to any shift based on plan seniority and may be required to work weekends.
