**Early Childhood Education**

D U T I E S
student and program support with the overall focus and goal being student success by working
collaboratively to provide program maintenance, support and promotion. Key responsibilities of
the position include: prepare, update, organize and participate in program promotion; updating
program information and digital media sites; advise, address, answer and resolve issues and
questions related to programs from students, faculty and outside the organization; provide course
and program level support by assisting with correspondence, update course outlines/materials
and learning management system (LMS), book requests, instructor and room scheduling; assist in
the arrangement and communication of student practicum; and liaise and coordinate with internal
departments and external organizations regarding programs.

Other duties of the position may include: maintain program and student information and various
databases; develop and/or administer processes/procedures for the department; assist with
recruitment, hiring and onboarding processes; assist managing department projects; assist with
budget and financial operations; organize meetings and advisor committees, manage processes
and communications related to facility and IT requests for the department; and assist in tracking
weekly and annual instructor workload information.
- R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S- Post-secondary education in Administration, Education, Community Services, or Early
- Childhood Education- Experience supporting the delivery of educational programs and services
- Experience providing customer service to a multi-cultural and multi-needs customer base
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
- High-level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Word and Excel
- Demonstrates initiative
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written communication skills
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive
