Child Wrangler

I am a working professional and admittedly overwhelmed parent with 3 boys in school, ages 5-12, who is looking for an energetic, part time live out childcare person to pick up the two youngers and do the kid feeding, watching, and bedtime routine so I can get to some evening classes.

I mainly need monday evenings and one or two of Tuesday-Friday evenings depending on the week. Occassional weekend block (mostly Saturday mornings) or day is also hoped for. There is some flexibility as to exactly which days and hours. Mileage paid at CRA rate whenever you are using your own vehicle on the job (kid taxi).

Completion of secondary school, CPR and first aid training as well as previous experience in childcare required. I need someone who is at least moderately athletic and if intending to work long term, is a strong swimmer. (there is a pool) Must have a cellphone, can drive, and have your own vehicle for occasional kid transport. Reasonable functionality in French would be nice, but not required or expected.

We have a cat in the house and there are a lot of dogs in the neighbourhood so some comfort with pets is important though you won't have to do much in that area.

We eat anything and therefore cannot guarantee an allergy free environment. So, if you have severe food allergies, this might not work well.

There will be a 2 week trial/training period, and if things work out well, YAY
