Upholsterer Fabricator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for assembling and upholstering automotive interiors according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as mechanical knowledge.

**Duties**:

- Build and assemble automotive interiors, including seats, panels, and carpets
- Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather to cover interior pieces
- Attach padding and springs to seat frames
- Install finished upholstery into vehicles
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs to upholstery as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as an Upholsterer or similar role
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to build and repair automotive interiors
- Knowledge of CNC machinery and software is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix any issues with upholstery equipment
- Familiarity with using calipers for precise measurements
- Ability to work in a great shop environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
