Position Scope:
**Responsibilities**:

- Steaming of mining & support equipment, with some laborer duties.
- Assist with additional tasks including general yard clean up, assisting mechanics and steamers and other day to day tasks as directed by the maintenance supervisor.
- Very physically demanding position in adverse condition.

Qualifications:

- Class 3 license with air brakes preferred.
- It will be expected for a class 3 license to be obtained within the first 3 months of employment.
- Must be able to operate a standard vehicle.
- Must be a self-starter, experience operating forklift, bobcat and loader would be an asset.
- AWP and Fall arrest would be an asset.
- Access to Suncor, Syncrude and Syncrude Aurora & Kearl.

Summary:

- Have a valid Driver’s License and clean Drivers Abstract
- Have experience requested as mentioned above
- Subject to Random Testing at: Suncor, Suncor Fort Hills and Kearl sites
- Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:

- Breath Alcohol Test
- Urine Drug Test
- Fitness-to-Work Assessment
- Audiometric Testing
- Vision Screening
- Criminal Record Check

**This is a union position, you will be required to join the local OE955 union.**
