Hydrology and Drainage

Phoventus is a consulting firm in the renewable energy field. We are looking to expand our engineering department. This opportunity is for someone that can easily engage with clients, work with and mentor younger engineers, and has a passion for renewable energy and energy storage. You will be part of a team that together solves some of the challenges our clients face.

Our project requires various stages of Hydrology and stormwater consulting, design engineering, and Due Diligence. Our client projects can be found in South America, The United States, and Canada.

**Responsibilities**
- Draw on your technical expertise to review and comment on project requirements as they relate to scope, cost, and schedule
- Review technical deliverables, including but not limited to Topographical, general layout drawings, design calculations, standard specifications, and equipment lists.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects
- Prepare and provide proposal support
- Client engagement related to business development
- Participate in client project requirement meetings, value analysis, and cost estimating
- Conduct site visits, which may include travel regionally and internationally.
- Follow all health and safety policies, regulations, and legislation.

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferred), Physics or Mathematics
- Master’s degree in engineering (preferred),
- 5 + years of experience
- Previous consulting experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, with relevant codes, calculations, and studies
- Ability to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production
- Strong understanding of procurement, contracting and commissioning methodologies
- Energetic roll up your sleeves get the job done personality
- Excellent safety awareness
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and passport
- Willingness to travel

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
